Amanda Bryant Melo, Lic.Ac. Amanda Bryant Melo is a licensed Acupuncturist in Texas and is licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Florida. She graduated from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Hallandale Beach Florida in 1999 with a Licentiate in Acupuncture and completed her Master of Acupuncture from the Academy in 2001. She has a diplomate in Acupuncture and a diplomate in Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Amanda is returning to Dallas after being in private practice in Boca Raton, Florida for 10 years. She is a visiting faculty member of the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture where she was a clinical supervisor for the intern clinic. Amanda practices Classical Five Element Acupuncture. She treats a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to anxiety, acute and chronic pain, arthritis, carpel tunnel, common cold and flu, depression, digestive disorders, fatigue, migraine, morning sickness, nausea, smoking cessation, shingles, sinusitis, insomnia, stress, hypertension, and treatment of pre and post-op conditions to accelerate healting from various surgeries including joint replacement.
